We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated HSE Manager to join our team. This role will focus primarily on providing HSE guidance and field support for multiple Flotek companies, facilities and operations. The HSE Manager work closely with various departments including field operations, manufacturing. logistics and legal to prevent and eliminate injury and illness to employees, assist the company to comply with safety and environmental regulations, and assist in the achievement of profitability/productivity requirements. This position reports to the Vice President – HSE & Manufacturing and is based in Marlow, OK.
o Provide support, expertise and training for Flotek's Energy Chemical Technology and Data Analytics facilities and field operations.
o Support and provide expertise on matters relating to OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, EPA and other Federal/State regulations.
o Provide comprehensive training programs for Flotek employees including:
o Support vendor management system compliance (ISN, Veriforce etc).
o Monitor and audit frac / wellsite operations and chemical deliveries.
o Review observations, inspections, and JSA's on a daily basis to identify risk activities.
o Work with operations to develop written SOP's as needed to support safe efficient operations.
o Support Flotek DOT and fleet safety program by providing guidance and expertise as needed on the following topics:
o Ensure that all personal protective equipment, site safety equipment and first aid supplies are adequate, available and readily accessible by crews.
o Lead the evidence collection and investigation of all HSE-related incidents and near misses and complete required documentation for the region.
o Conduct internal HSE field & facility audits to identify unsafe conditions.
o Represent Flotek HSE at regional customer and industry safety meetings.
o Respond and manage emergency response procedures as needed for spills, accidents, incidents and near misses.
o Perform accident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis as needed. Develop and implement corrective actions as needed.
o Experience providing oilfield, industrial and truck driver training
o Chemical
o Trucking
o Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Science or Engineering related field.
o 5 Years experience in oil & gas and/or industrial safety.

This is a full-time position with business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
