Our main office is in Baton Rouge and we have 4 branches in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Covington, New Orleans and a new branch opening in Mississippi. Optimize is seeking a new team member to lead our maintenance & repair division as the Head of Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the service team, ensuring that customers are helped in a timely manner. This leadership role will involve management of field technician staff and office support team for the service department. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of office operations as well as maintenance scheduling. This service department has been nationally recognized by Generac in 2022 and 2024 as the top Generac service provider in the United States.
- Oversee the service support operations and ensure they are providing excellent customer service.
- Oversee the field technical team and coordinate daily repair schedules.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
- Train customer service staff on new processes and procedures.
- Monitor service staff performance and provide feedback.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
