Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for an experienced Camp Cook to work at a remote logging camp. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge, experience and skill set required to complete assigned tasks in a safe, productive and professional manner.
Necessary qualifications and requirements for employment:
•
Resume. Including relevant experience and personal / professional references.
•
Copy of Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License.
•
Food Safe Level I or II
•
Red Seal Certified or equivalent
•
Strong communication skills
•
OFA Level I with Transportation Endorsement Ticket is considered an asset
•
Wage incentive for Level 3 First Aid Ticket.
What to expect:
•
Camp cooking on a two week on, two week off schedule
•
Train staff in preparation and handling of food
•
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
•
Order supplies and equipment
•
Manage kitchen operations
•
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
•
Clean kitchen and work areas
•
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
•
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
•
Plan menus, determine portions size, estimate food requirements and costs
•
Must be reliable and responsible

Remote Camp Cook: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
•
OFA 3 (preferred)
•
Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
