Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

•

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

•

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues that need attention.

•

Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.

•

Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

•

Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.

•

Document completed work and report any additional issues or needs to management.

Skills

•

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to maintenance tasks.

•

An understanding of general construction practices.

•

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

•

Experience using basic tools.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

•

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
