- Knowledge of different gun types and what is needed for the proper loading of guns
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel)
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 5+ years Wireline Gun Shop experience- Forklift certification

- Responsible for the performance of his/her assigned district.
- Supervises, trains and schedules gun shop personnel.
- Accountable for abiding by all explosives regulatory requirements within the gun shop and movement to/ from field locations.
- Coordinates operations of gun shop in conjunction with field needs – sets loading priorities.
- Orders materials and supplies to maintain continuous operations.
- Provides support to Wireline Manager coordinating field jobs and supplies.
- Oversees inventory and explosives consumptions.
- Tracks monthly inventory of shop materials.
- Manages gun shop equipment
- Purchases and price check supplies.
- Works with various departments to improve and simplify the work process for operators and gun shop hands.
- Source parts and equipment, requests PO #s and receives.
