Description GEODynamics in Millsap, TX
is looking for qualified candidates for
Gun Loader.Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo
Key Accountabilities
•
Performs standard assembly procedures to safely load, repair and store all guns & equipment.
•
Uses different tools and equipment to assemble units per required specifications.
•
Looks for faulty parts during the process of assembly and ensures that products are functioning properly and are of good quality.
•
Maintains adequate paperwork or computer entries for all inventory items.
•
Completes inventory counts and communicate results.
•
Performs preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklist.
•
Maintains tools, shop, and equipment in good condition and keep shop and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Practices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
2 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferably with oil and gas industry perforated products.
•
Good communication skills.
•
Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
•
Should possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, good reading comprehension skills.
Physical Requirements
•
Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role: Bending, lifting, stooping, pushing, pulling and sitting greater than 50% of the time
•
Repetitive motion demands
•
Hands/wrist/shoulder and gripping
•
Ability to lift up-to 60 lbs.
Work Environment/Environmental Conditions
•
Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases
•
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
•
Walking surfaces: Outdoor areas ramps and rough/uneven terrain
