Company Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Guard to join our team at Reco NC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security at the Reco NC location.
Summary
The Guard Shack Attendant will assist in the receiving process for the manufacturing facility and perform a variety of other tasks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Locks and secures gated entrance and the building.
•
Monitors surveillance cameras and reports suspicious behavior
•
Inspects and patrols premises regularly (front office security guard)
•
Communicates with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
•
Monitors public access and ensures the security of all personnel and visitors.
•
Responds to alarms and analyzes security footage.
•
Maintains an activity log and prepares surveillance reports.
•
Informs appropriate personnel of product deliveries.
•
Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributors.
•
Receives and verifies accuracy of product deliveries.
•
Ability to read and interpret documents such as SDS, BOLs, and other shipping documents.
•
Adheres to company policies and legal regulations.
•
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•
Ability to follow directions and work within a team.
•
Must be detailed oriented
•
Good verbal and written communication skills.
•
Ability to work in a variety of roles.
•
Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Education and Experience:
•
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

•
Excellent communication skills.
•
Ability to exercise good judgement.
•
Strong reporting skills.
•
Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures.
•
Knowledge of state law and regulations.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
•
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
•
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
•
