Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-kept. This role requires a passion for nature and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to uphold the beauty of our grounds.
Duties
•
Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
•
Maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaped areas by planting and weeding.
•
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
•
Blowing driveways, patios, decks.
•
Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases.
•
Clear debris from walkways and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
•
Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
Skills
•
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and pruning shears.
•
Experience with power tools including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers is preferred.
•
Good physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
•
Attention to detail with a keen eye for maintaining the overall appearance of grounds.
•
Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to schedules.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
