Grinding Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and tools, ensuring precision and quality in the production process. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor machinery, including a Blanchard grinding machine, saw and/or manual Bridgeport mill.

- Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in manufacturing.

- Proficient in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand or sit for extended periods during shifts.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
