Overview
Under general supervision, perform work of complex difficulty in advanced graphic and printing assignments.
Essential Functions:
Operates computerized graphics workstation
•Participates in developing designs and materials for desktop publishing, visual displays, exhibits, brochures, manuals, newsletters and related materials
•Assists customers in all aspects of graphic displays, duplicating and printing
•Recommends methods and materials for completion of graphic components
•Provides assistance to all departments concerning technical printing, operates various print shop equipment
•Operates large document imaging copier
•Assures all materials have been prepared according to customer and department specifications
•Performs preventive and minor maintenance on duplicating equipment
•Maintains logs, records and print shop supplies

Qualifications
Training and Experience:
•Two (2) years of experience in graphics and the operation of various duplication and printing machinery
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Preferred course work in graphics software applications
•Proficient in large format scanners for 24x36” blueprints and copy equipment
•Proficient in various graphics software.
•Experienced with duplication, printing, cutting, folding, and binding machinery.
•Knowledge of mixed media printing (varied paper sizes/weights), booklets, large quantity jobs, stapling/folding, and training manuals.
•Skilled in assisting customers to visualize their ideas.
•Ability to read and interpret plans, maps, and engineering instructions.
•Capable of following detailed written and oral instructions.
•Strong in building and maintaining effective work relationships.
•Efficient in record-keeping and supply management.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Must possess valid driver's license issued by the state in which the employee resides.
