, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship opportunity in the Financial & Support Services division. We are looking for a Grants Administration Intern- Spring 2026.

During the internship, you will be involved in supporting OUC’s Grant Administration team in various capacities, from assisting with the coordination, gathering and submission of required written documentation and support, including interaction with the FEMA PDMG.

Internship Eligibility And Requirements

- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree seeking program.

- Academic status of Sophomore and above.

- Program of study: Emergency Management, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Business

- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

- Authorized to work in the United States

- Ability to commit to a part-time schedule during January 12, 2026 through May 1, 2026

Primary Functions:

- Assist with designated business unit functions as needed under the direction of the supervisor.

- Support the designated business unit’s specific project needs.

- Actively contribute to day-to-day functions within the business unit.

- Collaborate and partner with other team members to support business unit initiatives and project deliverables.

- Research, evaluate, and analyze processes, procedures methods, practices, strategies to ensure effectiveness and compliance and provide recommendations.

- Apply diversified knowledge in academic discipline principles to a variety of assignments.

- Participate in collaborative meetings and work sessions.

- Plan, coordinate, develop, and implement various projects and strategies to meet business needs.

- Gather, organize, analyze, and present data and findings.

- Organize and monitor assigned tasks.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Requirements:

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to apply knowledge from field of study for tasks within the assigned business unit.

- Intermediate Excel experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Work collaboratively with assigned team members and cross functional groups to actively learn and train on assigned tasks.

Compensation:

$17-$18 per hourvaries depending on the education level
