Join us in this role where you’ll be a part of a 10-week immersive summer experience designed to strengthen your development through tailored programming focused on three key aspects: exposure to our core business, vision centered and collaborative experiential learning, and professional development. You’ll be part of a team that gets people to “Yes.” Whether it’s working on building support for state legislation or approval for a local permit, you will join a core team of three colleagues each with a government affairs background who thrive on a challenge.
You’ll be part of the Growth and New Market, Onshore Team where you, together with your colleagues, will help tackle knotty problems that once resolved will set up our onshore projects for success. From reviewing state bills and regulations covering such topics as taxes, siting, and endangered species habitat to talking with local communities about our wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The team deals with a wide-range of issues, creating an environment that will provide the practical experience you seek. As a team we not only anticipate and overcome state and local government affairs obstacles, we also engage in creative problem solving with our Development, Mergers and Acquisition, Construction, Operations, Origination, Communications, and Branding and Marketing teams.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
