GIS Database Senior System Analyst

Overview

As the GIS Project Team Lead GIS Senior System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in geodatabase administration for NRG (O&R MAPPING SYSTEM) to GIS Migration. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in working on enterprise systems, a deep understanding of Database management technologies, and the ability to lead the team through successful database and data model building exercise.Our team is a dynamic IT GIS solutions provider committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a talented GIS Project Team Lead with expertise to spearhead our NRG to GIS migration project. We are looking for an individual with proven track record in enterprise database management. You will utilize geoprocessing tools for data manipulation and management within geodatabase. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in working on enterprise systems, and the ability to lead the team through successful database management practices.Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities* Geodatabase Maintenance: Perform geodatabase compress operations to optimize data storage and maintain system performance. Utilize geoprocessing tools for data manipulation and management within the geodatabase. Understand and implement versioning in geodatabases, reconciling versions to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience* Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience.

Preferred Education/Experience* Master's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience with ArcFM experience.

Relevant Work Experience* Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, required.

Skills and Abilities* Demonstrated problem solving skills

Licenses and Certifications* Driver's License Required

Additional Physical Demands* Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
