What you’ll do

- Conduct field investigations and collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples for analysis.

- Perform laboratory tests on materials to determine their physical and mechanical properties.

- Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports that detail findings and recommendations.

- Collaborate with civil engineers in project design and development using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.

- Support construction management by conducting inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

- Utilize GIS and ArcGIS software for mapping and data visualization related to geotechnical studies.

- Engage in research and development activities to innovate solutions for geotechnical challenges.

- Draft schematics and technical documents that clearly communicate project details.

Basic qualifications

- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles, including mathematics and drafting skills.

- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Revit.

- Experience with construction inspection practices and methodologies.

Preferred qualifications

- Familiarity with water treatment and wastewater treatment processes.

- Knowledge of land surveying techniques for accurate data collection.

- Mechanical knowledge to assist in equipment operation during fieldwork.

- Excellent technical writing skills for clear documentation of findings.
