We are actively looking to fill the following Full-time Contract role based in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Contract Starting May 15, 2025, and ending August 31, 2025.

Scope of the role

Under the direction of the Project Geologist of Exploration Services, the incumbent is mainly responsible for assisting with logging drill core for lithology, mineralization and geotechnical information. The incumbent will also be responsible for drill site visits, core retrieval as well as geological mapping and sampling as required. The Core Logging Student must be a physically fit individual in order to complete labour required daily.

The incumbent must possess good communication skills in order to interact with technicians, geologists and others in the workplace to ensure that required duties are completed to satisfaction. This includes the responsibility of accurately recording core logging measurements, descriptions and assay information. Good housekeeping and safe work practices are essential.
