About the Company
: The Generator Sales Representative is responsible for managing generator sales from initial customer engagement through contract closing. This role involves assessing customer power needs, providing detailed project quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff for execution. The position also includes handling service-related inquiries and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors. As part of the sales team, this position contributes to strategy and decision-making to achieve sales goals.

- Engage with potential customers to assess and discuss generator power and energy needs.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project requirements and gather necessary details.
- Present project proposals, handle revisions, and close sales.
- Address incoming customer inquiries regarding generators, service, and energy requests.
- Provide accurate quotes and recommendations for appropriately sized equipment sales to customers requiring equipment-only solutions.
- Create itemized project quotes in collaboration with the internal estimating team.
- Confirm the availability and lead times for generators, ATS systems, and other job-specific equipment.
- Review and update quotes and equipment costs for projects pending approval.
- Collaborate with contractors, integrators, and utility providers to support timely project completion.
- Communicate with project managers to ensure a smooth transition from sale to execution.
- Enter and track project details in CRM.
- Work with the service team to address customer concerns related to projects.
- Route incoming service calls, rental requests, warranty, and invoice inquiries to the appropriate team members.

- Experience
: Background in generator sales, electrical contracting, renewable energy, battery storage, or project coordination. Experience working with electrical contractors and utility providers is a plus.
- Education and Training
: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical installation is desired.
