Generator Field Service Technician

PowerPro Service Company Inc. is a family owned Generator Set Sales, Service and Installation company. We supply, install and service generator sets for home and businesses across Long Island. We are looking for an experienced field service technician to join our team. Job responsibilities would include traveling to customers’ homes and businesses to perform all aspects of generator maintenance and repair. To Include:

- Oil and filter Changes

- Engine Tune-ups on diesel, natural gas, and propane fired engines.

- Engine Diagnostics and repairs

- System overhauls

- Fuel system repair

- Control circuitry repair

- Minor AC electrical diagnostics

- Generator Installations

PowerPro Service Company services all brands of generators. To include, but not limited to: Generac, Cummins, Kohler, CAT, Gillette Generators, etc...Equipment ranges in size from small 8KW single cylinder generators, to larger 2500KW, V-16 powered equipment. Applicant must have mechanical and electrical experience. Looking for an applicant with relevant work experience.

Company vehicle is provided. Will train. Salary based on experience. We offer Medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement plan. Clean and valid driver's license required.

Pay: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour
