General Labourer

We are a metal manufacturing shop located in Bassano, Alberta, and we’re currently looking to hire motivated General Labourers to join our team.

Positions are available across our Sheet Metal and Powdercoating departments, however other positions can be open to the right candidate.

Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.

What We’re Looking For:

- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks while working as part of a team.

- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail around heavy-duty machinery.

- A willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to different areas of the shop as needed.

- A reliable work ethic and strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting skilled tradespeople.

- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as required.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Requirements:

- Must be available for full-time work, Monday to Friday. Summer hours are currently 6AM to 2:30PM. Fall/Winter hours are 8AM to 4:30PM.

- Must be dependable and punctual.

- Steel-toed boots and appropriate PPE workwear are required.
