Job Description:
McHone Industries is seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to join our team in a fast-paced steel manufacturing facility. This position involves assisting in the production process, material handling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
•
Load and unload raw materials and finished products
•
Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
•
Assist machine operators and welders as needed
•
Perform quality checks on finished products
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
•
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
•
Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or GED preferred
•
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
•
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
•
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
•
Reliable attendance and punctuality
•
Ability to work in a hot, noisy environment
