General Laborer/Construction

D2 is a woman-owned sitework company with an excellent track record for safety and customer service. As a construction laborer at our excavation company, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will involve physical labor on construction sites, including site preparation, equipment operation, and teamwork. Here are the key details:

Responsibilities:

Assist with the and care for construction equipment and machines.

Assist equipment operators, and other skilled labor when necessary.

Prepare construction sites by keeping work areas clean and removing hazards.

Load or unload construction materials.

Assist with the monitoring and management of dump trucks.

Follow instructions from supervisors.

Be ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license - You’ll need to operate vehicles as part of your duties.

OSHA 10 training certification required- We prefer candiadtes who already have their training, but training can be made available.

Be at least 18 years of age - Legal requirement for construction work.

High school diploma - Basic educational qualification.

Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous tasks - Physical fitness is crucial.

Ability to work in all weather conditions - Construction happens rain or shine.

Punctuality and reliability - Dependability is essential.

Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry - Prior experience is beneficial. Must have clean criminal record, as we work high security work.

Hourly Rate of pay may be determined by Wage Scale jobs, when available.
