About This Job

Temporary Summer employment at Ervin Industries, a steel manufacturing facility, in the Maintenance Department.

The following is the criteria for the candidate:

•

Preferred to be enrolled in college and be at least 18 years of age.

•

Length of employment is temporary during summer months starting in May and ending in August.

•

Candidate must be physically able to perform the required work, as the opening is in the plant.

•

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

•

Candidate must pass pre-employment screening and drug screening exam.

•

Candidate must be flexible and willing work rotating shifts in a hot, noisy and dusty environment. Willing to work mandatory overtime.

NOTE: Training will be provided.

This job will be available in the month of May through August. Pay rate is $18.00/hour with overtime pay at time and a half.
