General Labor - Recycling Associate

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Recycling Associates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recycling process, ensuring that materials are sorted, processed, and prepared for reuse. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to quality work.

Duties

- Operate various types of equipment, including forklifts and skidloaders, to assist in the recycling process.

- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move and sort recyclable materials .

- Sort through recyclable materials, separating items as needed for proper processing.

- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

- Experience operating forklifts and/or skidloaders is preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

- A willingness to learn new skills related to recycling processes and equipment operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.75 per hour
