General Field Service Technician II

Overview:

Stewart & Stevenson is Now Hiring a General Field Service Technician II at 8631 East Freeway Houston, TX 77029. Responsible for diagnosing problems and performing standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs at the customer’s place of business on customer's equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, compact track loaders, rough terrain cranes, and other distributed equipment. Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and four to seven years related experience required.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Certificates & Licenses:

Technical certification in automotive, lift truck, heavy equipment and/or diesel engine repair required. Other Requirements:

Ability to utilize laptop computers and portable diagnostic tools required.

Clean driving record and valid Driver’s License required.
