Pay Range: Class A ($57,324 – $80,225); Class B ($52,104 – $72,924) Class C ($46,904 – $65,624)
Position Summary: Under occasional supervision, performs maintenance and repair work on customer-owned gas appliances and equipment; responds to and repairs gas and carbon monoxide leaks. Performs related technical work as required. Must live within a 20-mile radius of CPW’s Operations Center and able to respond in 40 minutes. Reports to the Gas Services Supervisor.
Work Environment: Requires working in difficult weather conditions (rain, hot, cold, etc.); Physically demanding work; must be able to work in confined spaces, Requires being on an “on-call” rotation. On-call requires responding to emergency calls 24/7, Monday through Sunday when on employees scheduled on-call week.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must become Operator Qualified according to the Department of Transportation and Office of Pipeline Safety Operator Qualification rule, within one year of hire. Requires great customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
