Gas Station Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, maintaining the cleanliness of the station, and ensuring smooth operations at the fuel pumps and convenience store. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions efficiently.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in a friendly manner.

- Operate fuel pumps and ensure proper fueling procedures are followed.

- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including the convenience store area.

- Assist with merchandising products and restocking shelves as needed.

- Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer experience.

- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively for efficient transactions.

- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

- Experience in retail sales or technical sales is preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence.

- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills.

- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
