Job Opportunity: Gage Calibration Inspector & Internal Calibration – 2nd Shift

Hemco Gage has proudly called Holland, MI home for over almost 80 years. We specialize in manufacturing precision measuring gages used across a variety of industries.

We are expanding our team and seeking a Gage Calibration Inspector & Internal Calibration for 2nd shift. This schedule runs from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM. Training will take place on 1st shift, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Primary Responsibilities for a Gage Calibration Inspector & Internal Calibration - 2nd Shift:

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

· Incoming customer gages: Clean up. Visually inspect for obvious failure modes. Physically inspect. Reset thread rings. Perform 1st-piece inspections on externally threaded gages.

· Internal Measuring Tools: Clean up. Visually inspect for obvious failure modes. Physically inspect. Calibrate. Maintain a digital database. Manage outside calibration vendors.

· Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment in use.

· Additional skills as trained.

Required Qualifications for Internal Calibration:

Must have experience with GageTrak software or similar gage calibration software.

Must have Gage Calibration experience.

· Commitment to working safely.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Problem-solving and math skills.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Strong manual dexterity.

· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
