Interstate Storage & Pipeline Corporation is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to help ensure the safety and security of our government contracted fuel storage and shipping operations. This position is essential to supporting U.S. military facilities in the region.
- Conduct security rounds across the facility in all weather conditions
- Perform U.S. Coast Guard truck/trailer inspections (heights involved)
- Monitor and enforce gate access, including personnel, vehicle, and delivery inspections
- Complete required security and inspection reports
- Monitor security cameras and respond to incidents or provide notification to personnel
- Record hourly readings during fuel transfer operations
- Handle incoming calls and communications as needed
- Participate in facility training, tabletop exercises, and emergency drills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with reasonably clean driving history
- Reliable Transportation
- U.S. Coast Guard TWIC card (or ability to obtain with clean background)
- Comfortable working around petroleum products and at heights
- Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout shift
- Basic computer skills
- Must pass background checks and routine/on-call drug testing
- Willingness to complete initial 3-day HAZWOPER training (provided)
- Prior security or emergency response training
- Marine/emergency response experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight (including holidays)
- Compensation: $17.20/hour + $5.36/hour Health & Welfare benefit- Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment
- Overtime: Additional hours available
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
