We’re looking for a CDL Fuel Truck Operator with a tanker endorsement to join our crew operating in Byers, CO and the surrounding area. You will be responsible for transporting and delivering fuel and other liquids to project locations. - Safely load, transport, and deliver fuel, lube, and other liquids
- Operate tankers and other vehicles as needed
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to loading protocols and inspect vehicles before and after loading
- Follow traffic safety regulations and report any unsafe vehicle or road conditions
- Perform general labor tasks as needed
- Travel as needed to transport fuel to job site
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and teamwork in all operations
- All other duties assigned
- Valid Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience with a strong safety record.- Experience in construction or utility work is a plus.
- Familiar and compliant with Federal DOT safety, and drug & alcohol testing regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work extended hours as needed
- Physical activity required for role
- Travel as needed
- Work outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
- Standing and walking for extended periods on uneven surfaces
- Repeated motions such as kneeling, climbing, crouching, crawling, reaching
- Repeatedly lifting loads up to 50 pounds overhead
- Move about, in, and around construction vehicles
- Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
- Manual dexterity to operate vehicles and use hand and power tools
- Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
- Work as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics
- May need to drive or ride in vehicles for long distances to reach job site
- Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check
