We are seeking an experienced Grading Foreman with a strong background in civil site work and grading to join our team. This is a great opportunity to lead meaningful projects and grow within a company that values integrity and craftsmanship.
Job Title: Grading Foreman
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000/annually + Company Vehicle
Essential Duties:
•Supervise daily grading activities including equipment operation, site preparation, and crew management
•Ensure work is performed according to plans, manage site logistics, and maintain a safe and productive work environment
•Studies project specifications with project superintendent and management to plan procedures for pipe installation sequencing
•Directs, coordinates and supervises daily activities of staff and sub-contractors
•Operates assigned heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill large pipe and culvert.
•Uses instruments such as lasers, grade rods, eye levels and transit levels to set appropriate grade for pipe installation
•Inspects work to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules

•Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction projects
•Certifications Required: OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Confined Space Certified, Maricopa County Rule 310 Basic Certification
•Current driver’s license and insurable motor vehicle record - CDL preferred
•Demonstrated skills in safe operation of heavy equipment (i.e. tractors, scrapers, bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators of any size, compactors)
•Knowledge of street and highway traffic rules and regulations, and safety precautions to be observed in working on or near highways
