The Floor Hand is to keep the shop and surrounding area clean and free of any and all garbage and debris for safety and appearance reasons.
- Must keep all shop bays clean and neat, by sweeping on a regular basis.
- Roll up all air hoses and water hoses when not in use.
- Empty all garbage cans on a regular basis.
- Keep lunchroom, bathroom and wash area clean and neat.
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Will be required to help out the shop technicians by chasing parts, washing parts, and assisting in any other needs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Requires frequent bending, reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

- High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of shop experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of MS Office and operate a Windows based computer.
- Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
