Fixed Asset - Staff Accountant

SSI Petroleum is looking for a Fixed Asset - Staff Accountant.

In this role, the applicant must possess the skills and responsibilities for equipment procurement, equipment records, and equipment reconciliation. Creating and maintaining equipment profitability reporting, maintaining fixed asset system, providing support to all departments, and assisting the Chief financial officer in preparation of miscellaneous confidential reports.

Responsibilities:

- Daily reconciliation of fuel and trucks.

- Evaluating and measuring account profitability.

- Procurement and tracking of offsite equipment.

- Perform account analysis and reconciliation.

- Assist in the preparation of reports as required.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Proficient in spreadsheet software.

- Prior accounting experience is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Knowledge of basic accounting functions includes but not limited to accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger, bank reconciliation, etc.

- Ability to multi-task individually and in group situations.

- Capable of working in demanding, deadline-driven environments.

- Detailed oriented.

- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, work efficiently with minimal supervision.
