We are an internationally renowned industrial steel fabricator and steel bending company. Established in 1974, in the Stoney Creek / Hamilton area serving the energy, resources, primary metals, marine, construction, architectural, and environmental industries.

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Fitter to work on afternoon shift at our 930 Arvin Stoney Creek location. The 10 hour afternoon shift is Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to 1:30am with opportunity for overtime. Initial training will take place on day shift.

Fitter/Welder

· Layout any form and/or Jig that may be required.

· Prepare the material as per drawings. Read blueprints accurately.

· Initial traveler showing that the required functions for the particular sub-assembly, or assembly have been completed.

· Post welding check the sub assembly or assembly to ensure all required welding is completed and within acceptable limits.

Required Skills:

· Experience within a custom steel fabrication and/or custom machining environment.

· Knowledge of industry welding standards in an ISO environment.

· Ability to read text and make calculations and measurements accurately.
