How you will contribute:

As the Fire Protection Construction Superintendent, you will ensure that contract work is performed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. You are responsible for ensuring construction projects achieve an acceptable margin and conduct a post-mortem on any that do not. You will spend approximately 25% of your time in the office, and the other 75% will be spent with the field crew, ensuring jobs are completed properly. You will ensure that field teams are adhering to all safety policies. You will work closely with the designers to answer questions relative to the installation of sprinkler systems. You will work closely with general contractors and attend scheduling meetings to coordinate scheduling and assist with any issues on the project. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement of the Local 669 Union.

What you need to qualify:

Qualified candidates will be a Sprinkler Fitter/Journeyman/Foreman. Candidates must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles, be able to travel for the position, and pass an appropriate drug screen and physical. Successful candidates must be self-starters, able to lead and direct others, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
