KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports development, maintenance, and execution of facility emergency response plans and programs.
2. Develops facility fire and emergency responses programs and provides direct leadership of fire brigade and operations emergency response measures during an incident.
3. Oversees facility emergency response equipment and maintenance in compliance with regulations and MPC’s mechanical integrity programs.
4. Builds and maintains working relationships with regulatory agencies including local mutual aid partners.
5. Develops and maintains facility fire prevention and response programs and conducts exercises to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
6. Maintains a cutting edge, proactive, structured training program for the Refinery Emergency Response Team to enable members to progressively achieve increased levels of competence as defined under National Fire Protection Association.
7. Provides subject matter expertise in Fire Safety, Emergency Response and Preparedness for the facility.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* High School diploma or GED with minimum 7 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in HES, Emergency Response or other related degree with minimum 4 years relevant experienceA valid driver's license is required.
Candidates must live within 40 miles of the work location. If not already within this radius, relocation will be required within 90 days of hire to ensure timely emergency response capability.
Salary range is $104,300 to $179,800 dependent on experience.
