Job Title: Finishing Line Lead

Pay Range: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
The Finishing Line Lead is a hands-on role that supports the Finishing Supervisor in overseeing daily department operations. This position plays a vital part in ensuring jobs are completed on time, are meeting quality standards, and that the team members stay organized, focused, and are working efficiently. The Finishing Line Lead helps coordinate workflow, monitors job progress, addresses issues on the floor as they arise, and serves as a point of contact for the team during daily operations. This role leads by example and plays a key part in maintaining a productive, safe, and team-oriented work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and demonstrates strong leadership with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate day-to-day activities on the finishing line to meet production goals
•Organize and direct work assignments to ensure smooth workflow and team efficiency
•Monitor job progress to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
•Promote and model safe work practices in a clean, organized work area
•Serve as a point of contact for team members and provide real-time support and direction
•Assist with training new or existing employees on processes and expectations
•Support continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process improvements
•Perform finishing tasks alongside the team, including inspection, packing, loading/unloading, etc.
•Report material, equipment, or staffing issues to the supervisor promptly
Qualifications:
•Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a finishing or production role
•Leadership experience or proven ability to guide and support a team
•Strong organizational and communication skills
•Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
•Adaptable and capable of adjusting to changing priorities or work conditions
•Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and leads by example
•Possesses a continuous improvement mindset—actively looks for ways to improve processes and outcomes
•Background in quality control or understanding of quality systems is a plus
