Position Summary
At Harper Brothers Construction, we take on complex, large-scale projects with a commitment to excellence and a problem-solving mindset. We are hiring an experienced Finish GPS Dozer Operator to operate GPS-equipped dozers for final grading on heavy civil construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
•
Operate GPS-integrated dozer to perform precise finish grading.
•
Use digital grade models to achieve correct elevations, slopes, and contours.
•
Monitor GPS performance and recalibrate as needed.
•
Communicate with foremen and grade checkers to align with site requirements.
•
Perform daily inspections and light maintenance on the equipment.
Qualifications:
•
At least 3 years of experience operating GPS-enabled dozers.
•
Solid understanding of GPS technology and digital grading plans.
•
Ability to operate efficiently and meet production targets.
•
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Requirements:
•
Physically able to work long shifts outdoors in all conditions.
•
Comfortable operating in active and high-traffic jobsites.
•
Must pass pre-employment screening, medical evaluation, and background check.
