The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s strategic goals and objectives within the Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury group at our Corporate Headquarters in Denver. The FP&A Analyst assists with financial forecasting, annual budgeting process, operating variance analysis and other special projects. Additionally, the FP&A Analyst assists in preparing timely and accurate corporate cash account reconciliations, performing daily cash reports and activities, and monitoring 3rd party credit risk exposures. This position is required to wear multiple hats at the same time and deliver high quality output while under tight timelines. Under general supervision, the FP&A Analyst reports directly to the Manager – Financial Planning.
- Support the FP&A and Treasury objectives.
- Facilitate effective cooperation and communication with internal departments regarding information gathering process.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecasts and annual budgeting process to consolidate forecasts and budgets and analyze trends.
- Assist with the preparation of materials to Executive Management and Board of Managers.
- Provide regular reports to the Leadership team to assist in the critical decision-making processes.
- Support an active and efficient Treasury function with high attention to detail:
- Daily monitoring and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Daily cash disbursement and receipts preparation and analysis
- Forecast cash flow positions to project future borrowing, repayment, and investment needs
- Track and monitor derivative instruments and assist in monthly settlements
- Actively monitor debt administration worksheets for all outstanding debt issues, bank credit facility, and letters of credit
- Assist in covenant calculations, compliance certificates, Treasury presentations, and all other Treasury activities.
- Maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation.

- Provide additional ad hoc reporting and analyses as needed.

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic.
- Strong experience manipulating and auditing Excel formulas (SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH/VLOOKUP, etc.) and the ability to extract needed information from varying data sets.
- Familiar with financial modeling and accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work output (keeping track down to the penny).
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn new software applications and internal processes.
- Strong communication skills both written & oral (using Word and PowerPoint), and comfortable presenting in front of large groups.
- Strong creative thinking, coupled with advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effectively communicate complex data, ideas and solutions in a dimple and concise manner to management. Solid business acumen and logical thinking.
- Strong work ethic, able to work on multiple projects at once and handle the pressure of deadlines and high expectations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or similar; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in a finance/accounting role. - 2+ years of complex analytical experience.- Previous experience in Oil and Gas Exploration & Production.
- Experience with Concur.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, Oil & Gas accounting and GAAP principles.
- Previous experience with cash management and treasury duties.
- Good presentation skills.
- Previous experience with variance analysis.- 2+ years of complex analytical experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Individual contributor with impact on department and company.
- Work in a climate-controlled office and routinely use standard office equipment.

This position is eligible for a 9/80 hybrid work schedule after 30-days of employment. Work is performed at office on Tuesdays through Thursdays, remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
