We are currently seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our finance operations and contribute to our finance & accounting team.
Position Summary:
As the Controller, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This role is perfect for a seasoned finance professional with significant construction industry experience who is looking to step into a CFO role in the near future. You will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
•Financial Reporting: Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy of financial statements.
•Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, working closely with various departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
•Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, manage audits, and oversee tax filings.
•Operational Support: Optimize financial processes to support operational teams and improve overall efficiency.
•Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred.
•At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in financial management and leadership.
•Proficiency in construction accounting software and MS Office. Procore Preferred.
