An industry-leading energy company in Puerto Rico is hiring a seasoned Financial Analyst to oversee the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
•Analyze financial statements and key company metrics to support decision-making.
•Prepare financial reports.
•Develop financial projections and conduct risk analysis.
•Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
•Collaborate with various departments for strategic planning.
•Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
•Prepare budgets and monitor their execution.
•Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
•Optimize costs and enhance the company's financial efficiency.
•Supervise and lead the finance team.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
•Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Finance or Accounting-related roles. Including three (3) years in leadership positions.
•Advanced bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
•Strong knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
•Leadership and teamwork skills.
•Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
