The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs - Rates West within Rates & Tariffs, this analyst position involves analytical work relating specifically to a pipeline’s cost-of-service, revenues, and volumes, in the design of interstate natural gas transportation rates. Other responsibilities may include financial analysis, acquisition/new project analysis, financial forecasting, and development and analysis of modernization programs for assigned regulated pipeline assets.

The successful candidate must be an effective problem solver able to leverage Excel skills to manipulate large sets of data and develop/update sophisticated financial/rate models. This position will work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Accounting, and other groups to support and implement business initiatives that impact the broader organization. Valuable input and recommendations are expected of this position to contribute to strategic decisions regarding TC Energy’s regulated pipeline assets. In addition, this position will ultimately interact with regulatory agencies and consultants.

What you’ll do* Develop and update Excel models in order to analyze volume and cost data, allocate costs between various service types, in order to design transmission and storage rates for various service types

Minimum Qualifications* BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or another related field

Preferred Qualifications* MBA a plus
