Summary:
As the Financial Analyst, Accounting you will be part of team who ensures completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls in supporting SE Canada’s business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly journal entries under tight month-end deadlines
- Aid in backup needed for A/P processing
- Analysis of assigned financial accounts and preparation of comprehensive I/S and B/S account reconciliations
- Participate in various projects, and process improvement initiatives
- Ad-hoc reporting / analysis as required
- Provide support for the interim and year end audits
- Prepare selected supplementary schedules and analysis for financial statements
- Partner with the Centres to understand transactions within the CRM system
- Flexible in adapting to changing priorities.

- Accounting/Finance/Business Degree and completed or working towards a professional accounting designation preferably a CPA;
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ of business experience including financial analysis and reporting;
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point;
- Good written and verbal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management;
- A self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines and executing;
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize.
