Unit set up and assembly

Without supervision, knows how to safely perform, lead a team and properly validate:

- passed all crane operation, rigging and forklift training

- set and assemble the plenum

- set and assemble fan / mechanical sections

- set and assemble, when required, walkways, support and recirculation structure

- properly set / connect bundle(s) to a plenum

- how to properly prepare, execute and troubleshoot fan run-in, vibration, and noise tests

- how to properly prepare and execute a full test erection

- how to support shipping loadouts in a safe manner

With supervision can:

- Understanding of Safety’s required inspection prior to working on a pressure vessel previously in service

- Understands API 661’s requirements for setting fan tip clearances and guidelines for shipment preparation and marking

- Knows how to use a cutting torch

- Knows how to use a plasma cutter

With supervision can:

- Understanding of Safety’s required inspection prior to working on a pressure vessel previously in service

- Knows how to use a cutting torch

- Basic understanding of a plasma cutter

With supervision can:

- Understand not to begin work until Safety has inspected a pressure vessel previously in service

- Learning how to use a cutting torch
