The Field Technician w/CDL 1 operates a commercial vehicle and provides delivery and setup of the Company’s rental equipment to customer locations. Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment in the field in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Works with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
•Delivers, sets up, swaps, and fuels equipment on customer locations.
•Operates Company commercial vehicles pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
•Maintains and completes required logbooks, DVIR, and all other DOT required forms.
•Completes starting and charging repairs on ICE (internal combustible engine) powered equipment.
•Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
•Uses all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
•Follows procedures to complete Short Service Employee requirements.
•Adheres to all state and federal DOT laws.
•Completes all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
•Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
Experience
Required
•Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License.
•High School or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
•Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.
•Requires basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
•Must be able to drive long distances/periods in Company vehicle.
•Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.
•Requires understanding of basic maintenance concepts needed to perform light to moderate repairs as necessary.
•Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
•Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent they understand verbal and written instructions in English.
