The Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of solar and battery power generation projects from post-sale to the customer handover. This includes managing timelines, project development activities, progress tracking, budgeting, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest customer satisfaction standards.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Able to supervise, direct and instruct Install, repair, and test residential and commercial electrical systems with precision and accuracy.
- Able to supervise, direct and instruct Install, repair or complete residential and commercial Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and coordinate field operations to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and direction to sales and field teams to ensure accurate and consistent information is conveyed to customers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues promptly and effectively.
- Lead efforts to implement safe work practices and procedures for the Field Operations team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the installation process by communicating clearly with customers, educating them about the product(s), and overseeing commissioning, closeouts, and customer orientations.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
- Document and update job status in the company CRM/Project Management system regularly to ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes for management review.
- Work requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levels
- Up to 70% of the job may include heavy physical work, heavy lifting, and pushing or pulling of material that may weigh from 50 to 100 pounds
- The position requires the individual to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces throughout the day
