Field Service Technician - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing and repairing various parts of water distribution systems, wastewater or storm water collection systems and equipment in the field.

Responsibilities

- Perform water meter installations and maintenance tasks including meter reading.

- Dig up and repair water main and service line leaks. Assist with construction work.

- Maintain good record keeping notes, and pictures of work performed.

- Utilization of apps associated with the task being performed

- Notify and explain to customers what our role is in their district

Qualifications

- Experience in the water/wastewater utility industry and construction industry preferred

- Experience working with hand and power tools

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outside in the elements such as digging and lifting more than 50lbs.

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers

Pay: $18.00 - $23.62 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
