Job Summary
The Field Technician is responsible for the maintenance, service, and inspection of Apache Oil Company’s above-ground fuel tanks and ancillary equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role helps protect the environment by ensuring equipment functions properly to prevent leaks, spills, or other hazards. The Field Technician works closely with operations, safety, and customer service teams to deliver high-quality service and support.
- Install and configure equipment according to specifications at customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using various tools, including an ohmmeter, to identify faults.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to our services.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in a technical environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
