Position Summary:
The Manager of Technical Solutions will oversee the operation of the Field Services Department to ensure efficiency and quality in the services provided to our customers.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
•Collaborates with the Leadership Team to coordinate activities across the company.
•Actively participates with the Leadership Team to develop and execute a department budget and identify annual goals, while participating in the weekly LT meeting.
•Collects, evaluates, analyzes and assesses technical support data, including but not limited to the financial health of the department.
•Regularly monitors and evaluates processes and services provided to customers.
•Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in processes, equipment or skills.
•Ensures compliance with federal, state, local and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines and best practices, including those related to safety.
•Develops and enforces procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
•Hires and trains field technician specialists.
•Coaches, mentors and develops staff, providing career development planning and opportunities.
•Organizes, directs and oversees the schedules and work of the field technician specialists.
•Performs performance evaluations for all members of the service department.
Required Skills / Abilities:
•Must be available to meet travel schedule; may be required to travel up to 25 - 50%.
•Understanding and experience in the application of natural gas gathering, processing and transportation.
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to foster a culture of quality, teamwork, integrity and pride.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to function well in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
•Ability to manage and de-escalate situations in a calm, respectful and professional manner.
Education and Experience:
•Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, business or related field preferred.
•Minimum five (7) years’ supervisory experience.
•Demonstrated knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications / License
•Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License free of unlawful traffic violations.
Physical Requirements:
•May be required to traverse uneven surfaces.
•Must be able to work in areas that require stretching, squatting, bending and reaching.
•Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
