The Field Service Foreman, leads a team of electricians, laborers, and instrument fitters in installing, calibrating, and maintaining process control instruments, while ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and site safety protocols.
1. Manage field crew to follow onsite safety guidelines and requirements
2. Oversee inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process analytical and control instruments
4. Document installations and repairs for compliance audits
5. Foster a culture of quality and safety onsite
6. Plan daily work schedules for field crew
7. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other onsite teams to confirm progress of installations or repairs
9. Daily reporting to manager on advancements or challenges to ensure installation or repair timelines are kept close to schedule
Ø Extensive knowledge of process control instrument installation, calibration, and maintenance
Ø High school diploma or associate degree in instrumentation or related field
Ø 5 -10 years of field service experience
Ø Ability to perform various physical tasks such as squatting, stretching, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ø Ability to work in a construction environment for extended periods
Ø Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ø Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
