We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Field Safety Manager to join our USA team. This leadership role is critical to ensuring safety compliance and fostering a strong safety culture across all field operations.


Position Overview:

The Field Safety Manager will oversee and coordinate safety activities across multiple projects, working closely with project teams to implement and maintain best practices. This role requires in-depth knowledge of MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) regulations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of leadership in safety management.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of comprehensive safety programs and policies.
Oversee compliance with MSHA regulations and other applicable standards for surface and underground projects.
Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to identify and address safety risks.
Act as a mentor and advisor to Project Safety Supervisors, ensuring consistent safety practices across all sites.
Facilitate safety training programs, including new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and specialized training sessions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and recommending corrective actions.
Compile and maintain detailed safety records, including reports for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with project managers and foremen to integrate safety into daily operations and project planning.
Develop and monitor key safety performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve safety outcomes.
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
Stay current on changes to safety regulations and industry standards, updating policies and procedures as necessary.


Qualifications:

Significant experience in safety management within the drilling, mining, or construction industries, with at least [X years] in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of MSHA regulations, as well as other relevant safety standards and best practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams toward a safety-first culture.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience delivering training and presentations.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MSHA Trainer, CSP, OSHA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Proven experience in conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Ability to travel frequently to project sites and work in varying field conditions.
Valid driver’s license required.
