Who You Are

You have the following education and/or experience:

Physical Requirements (Include But Are Not Limited To)

Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 25 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. . Ability to distinguish the nature of sounds to hear equipment warning signals. Ability to smell to detect burning materials, natural gas, hazardous substances such as ammonia and solvents and toxic substances found in hazardous wastes. Ability to hear radio messages in the truck and the horn when away from the truck. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Ability to distinguish the nature of sounds to determine if equipment is working correctly and to hear gas leaks. Ability to climb stairs, up to 20’, and ladders. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.; move items weighing up to 500 lbs. with equipment assistance.

Mental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand sophisticated problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and supervise impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and connect with individuals via telephone.
